Additional School Resources:

Community Coffee  is a monthly coffee hour with Principal Labb. Before each coffee hour you can submit your questions here anonymously for him to answer. Can't make it? Catch a summary in the Paw Print!

Paw Print & Bulldog Barks are Blanchard Memorial School's newsletters.   It's the best place to find out curriculum news, PTF and school happenings, and the latest updates from school administration. It is sent out electronically two times a month, and sent home in backpacks once a month as the Bulldog Barks. Miss an edition? Find an Archive here.

Blanchard Memorial School Band has a strong history of supporting an instrumental music program for students in grades four through six. This instrumental music program gives our students a special introduction to music in a wonderful, supportive atmosphere and provides a good foundation and appreciation for music as they grow. It is among the leading elementary programs in Massachusetts, with 2 concert bands, a stage band and 3 ensembles. All students receive lessons from an accomplished faculty, and have the support of a strong parent organization. You can learn more here

The Acton-Boxborough Regional School Committee is elected by the voters to oversee the education of the children of Acton and Boxborough. Typically, the committee meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month to review programs and procedures, establish goals for the school system, and develop and monitor the budget.    Community members are encouraged to attend the meetings or watch the proceedings live on cable-channel 99 (Comcast) and 41 (Verizon). Acton TV also offers online streaming of school committee meetings, both live and on-demand. You can learn more here

School Committee Meetings:
Meetings are usually held on the first and third Thursdays  of the month, at 7:00 p.m. in the R.J. Grey Junior High School Library. Meeting agendas are posted at least 48 hours prior at www.abschools.org

Superintendent Peter Light will be making regular updates to the School Committee, which will be shared with the Acton-Boxborough Community. The updates will be posted on ParentSquare.
