APPLY FOR A GRANT


Any Blanchard community members (parents, staff, teachers) are invited to apply for Blanchard PTF grants; often parents and teachers collaborate on grants, or multiple teachers can apply together.

The Blanchard Memorial School PTF Grants/Enrichment Process is a method by which the PTF funds can be awarded to support projects or materials not funded in the Blanchard Operating Budget that enrich the learning environment of the Blanchard Memorial School community. Any Blanchard community members (parents, staff, teachers) are invited to apply for Blanchard PTF grants; often parents and teachers collaborate on grants, or multiple teachers can apply together. 


There are three grant rounds each school year, and the Grants Committee will consider all submissions and make decisions generally within about 30 days of the grant deadlines. Previous grants awarded have included math and science learning tools, arts and music enrichment programs, special education equipment, science enrichment programs, all school assemblies and author visits. Committee Members 

This committee, comprised of Blanchard staff, parents/guardians of Blanchard students, and representatives from the PTF Board of Directors, manages the PTF Grants and Enrichment Funding (over $15k annually). Members serve one-year terms and meet following the 3 grant round deadlines to determine which proposals will be awarded funds.
